Elon Musk's SpaceX has successfully disrupted unauthorized Russian use of Starlink terminals by implementing real-time speed tracking. The system automatically disconnects terminals moving faster than 75-90 km/h—a tactical countermeasure against their deployment on long-range drones like the Molniya-2 model.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov confirmed the effectiveness of these measures, thanking SpaceX executives for rapid intervention. The collaboration continues to ensure Starlink remains aligned with civilian and democratic interests.
